Center Representatives Took Part in an International Workshop

On April 15–16, 2025, within the framework of the “Good Governance Programme,” the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized a workshop titled “Strategic Planning in Public Administration: Module VII – Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation” in Tashkent. Employees of Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center participated in the event, where they became familiar with international practices in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as data collection and analysis methods. At the end of the workshop, all participants were awarded certificates.

Cooperation established with the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On April 14 of this year, Olimjon Jumayev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Within the framework of cooperation, priority tasks include studying obstacles in entrepreneurial activity, conducting joint research on the preparation of commodity market analysis, exchanging best practices and international experience in competition and consumer protection, and developing and publishing joint scientific papers.

Cooperation has been established with the Eurasian Research Institute (ERI) of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 14 of this year, Olimjon Jumayev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Development and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Eurasian Research Institute (ERI) of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Cooperation is carried out in the following areas:Joint scientific research on the geography of the Turkic world and EurasiaPublishing articles on international platforms such as Web of Science and ScopusOrganization of symposia, seminars and conferencesIncreasing scientific and organizational potential, internship programsProjects in the field of economics, trade, business environment and energy At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange knowledge, increase the institutional potential of employees, organize joint seminars and trainings, attract international experts, and strengthen mutual cooperation.
