The Competition Committee monitors cases of unfair competition against competitors by business entities or other persons acting in their interests throughout the territory of our republic and takes appropriate measures to identify and suppress this violation of the law. During the study of this appeal, it was confirmed that the appearance, name and color harmony of the packaging box of the products of GULJAXON GULANDON LLC are similar to the appearance, name and color harmony of the packaging box of the products of FOTIH KRAL MOB LLC, which, in turn, may mislead the consumer. In connection with the above circumstances, the Special Commission of the regional administration initiated a case against GULJAXON-GULANDON LLC on the grounds of violating the requirements of the Law "On Competition" and issued an order to prevent such violations in the future.In the case of the Jizzakh region,It was established that on the facade of the Samsakhana building, owned by ISLOM ISOKOV LLC, operating in the city of Jizzakh, the inscription "No. 1. Kipchak Samsa Center" is placed, in violation of the requirements of the Law "On Advertising". In connection with the above circumstances, the Special Commission of the territorial administration initiated a case against ISLOM ISOKOV LLC on the grounds of violation of the requirements of the Laws “On Advertising”, “On Competition” and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 694 and issued an order to prevent similar violations in the future.
On April 9 of this year, Olimjon Jumayev, Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation with the Institute for Legislative Analysis and Regulatory Impact Assessment under the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, such issues as cooperation in the field of advanced training of employees, conducting joint analytical and scientific research, organizing discussion platforms, ensuring the participation of employees in national and international projects were discussed in detail. The signing of the memorandum will open up new opportunities for the exchange of experience between government agencies, which, in turn, will serve to strengthen the protection of consumer rights and the formation of a healthy competitive environment.
According to the relevant order of the Competition Committee, Uzum Tezkor LLC is recognized as a digital platform operator occupying a dominant position in the market of aggregator services for ordering and delivering prepared food and other consumer goods. Reason: Uzum Tezkor LLC sent a notification to the Committee about achieving indicators of a dominant position in the market. The Committee also reports that in relation to the digital platform operator occupying a dominant position, an antimonopoly compliance system will be mandatory implemented in order to prevent abuse of a dominant position in accordance with competition law, and appropriate monitoring will also be carried out.
