Recognition and Congratulations The leadership of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee sincerely congratulated the team of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center on being recognized as the “Best Research Center of the Year” at the “SCIENCE AND INNOVATION AWARDS – 2025” competition.
Within the framework of the “SCIENCE AND INNOVATION AWARDS – 2025” award ceremony, the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee was recognized as the winner in the nomination “Best Research Center of the Year.” The particular significance of this achievement lies in the fact that it was attained within a relatively short period since the establishment of the Center.
Within the framework of cooperation between the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Committee and Westminster International University, a practical seminar entitled “Research Methods and Econometric Analysis” was organized for the Committee’s staff.
A three-day training course on antimonopoly compliance was organized by the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center under the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee for employees of business entities.
The event brought together the leading research institutes and think tanks of our country, facilitating the exchange of scientific experience and methodological approaches in economic fields. - Participants presented scientific conclusions on pressing issues in their areas, sharing effective practices for the scientific justification of economic reforms and analysis of market systems.- The event provided an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation, identify directions for joint research, and take scientific integration to a new level. During the event, the Director of the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center, Doctor of Economic Sciences Olimjon Jumayev, provided detailed information on the Center’s analytical approaches to assessing the competitive environment, sectoral trends, and the scientific foundations of market reforms. At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Research Center and the Center for Research on Privatization and Management of State Assets under the State Agency for Management of State Assets. This document combines the intellectual potential of the two centers and plays an important role in deepening scientific research, implementing joint research projects, and providing scientifically grounded proposals for the development of the national economy. |Telegram |facebook|instagram|
During the visit, a meeting was held with Maxime Boyer, Vice President of the Toulouse City Hall–Metropolis. The parties discussed in detail the development of cooperation in the field of education, potential joint initiatives, and future steps. They also exchanged views on initial activities planned to be implemented in collaboration with the Toulouse Higher School. At the conclusion of the visit, the parties signed bilateral agreements aimed at expanding mutual cooperation. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the activities of their institutions, achieved scientific results, and priority projects for the coming year. To strengthen cooperation, the parties outlined plans for joint research projects based on economic analysis in the fields of economics and competition, as well as mechanisms for disseminating scientific knowledge to the wider public and enhancing mutual support. In addition, an agreement was reached to conduct econometric studies together with experts from the Toulouse School of Economics to identify factors affecting the prices of socially important food products and to forecast future price trends. As part of the econometric analysis, it is planned to assess internal and external shocks by taking into account the real needs of the population, the impact of imports on retail prices, exchange rate fluctuations, changes in global supply chains, as well as projections of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. The Toulouse School of Economics is recognized as one of the world’s leading research and educational centers in the fields of economics and public policy.
